The last welcome week event at Washburn University in Topeka, Kan. known as WU Fest was held on August 22, 2011 after students went to their first day of classes for the semester.  The event included food, music, dunk tank, plastic bubble racing, yearbook portraits, extreme twister and many other fun activities to wrap up Welcome Week 2011 at Washburn University.
