Feb. 2 the Washburn Ichabod Baseball team traveled to San Bernardino, California, to take on California State University-San Bernardino Coyotes. The Ichabods scored early in the second inning after Eric Hinostroza recorded an RBI single with Tyler Clark-Chiapparelli. Then Zion Bowlin walked. Next a double steal put two runners on second and third. Mitchell Lady reached on a fielding error, which allowed Hinostroza to score and Bowlin to move to third. Washburn would run around the bases yet again putting the Ichabods up 3-0. The Coyotes would avoid a shut out by adding two runs in the ninth inning and Washburn would follow up with one more run making the final score 4-2.

The Ichabods will next be in action Feb. 6 at 3:30 p.m. as they travel to take on Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
