Taking self defense

The Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity partnered with the YWCA held Take Defense Week March 1, 2010 through March 10, 2010.  The purpose was to educate and empower the men and women of Washburn University in the realities of relationships and domestic violence.

On March 10, 2010, Sigma Phi Epsilon held a take defense class at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.  A couple Washburn Faculty taught students life saving self-defense techniques in order to teach men and women the martial arts of self-defense.
