The Washburn University Ichabod mascot has gone from being lovingly referred to as "icky" to irresistible in his latest makeover.
Catch the first glimpse of the new Ichabod at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20, on the north Union Lawn. (In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside to Stauffer Commons, Memorial Union.)
Washburn President Jerry and Susan Farley will accompany Ichabod in a grand arrival by limo. Following the arrival, Jerry Farley will formally welcome Ichabod back to campus.
Ichabod will be honored with a belated 212th birthday celebration at 11 a.m. (Free cupcakes will be available while supplies last.)
