This week set off a chain of “lasts” in my college career. Last classes, last piano lesson, last newspaper and last week of finals. I’m going to miss Washburn.
Building a winning collegiate sports athletics program is no small task. For Washburn this is especially the case as the university is coming off one of its most successful years overall.
There are so many things I learned in the last four years at Washburn. Some of which I thought I would share with those who will be staying on next year.
The past four years during summer break and winter break I usually went back to Kansas City, Kan. to work at a restaurant called Cheeseburger in Paradise as a server. Last summer was the first summer that I started to drift away from going back to Kansas City, Kan.
