This guy is a mess, something so simple and he is failing so much. This guy spends about two minutes trying to put his flip-flops on. Flip-flops are meant to be an easy shoe to put on. He just can't do it.

Sportscast epic fail
"Boom Goes the Dynamite" is this week's YouTube Pick of the Week. This video is of an epic fail in news broadcasting. The reporter Brian Collins seems at first scared, or maybe just confused. The best part of this video is during his broadcast when he said, "boom goes the dynamite." He said this after a player shot and made a three-point basket. His poor commentary isn't his only problem. He said that a player made a three-point basket, but it was only two points. The player was in front of the three-point ark. He was also doing commentary for both teams.

Twisted version of Romeo and Juliet
This week's YouTube pick is a little sassy. The Pick comes from The Second City Network. It is called Sassy Gay Friend: Romeo & Juliet. This video takes the tragic love story Romeo & Juliet and tells how it would end if Juliet had a gay friend. They depict that the gay friend would have talked her out of killing herself. In this video, the gay friend is very honest with Juliet. This made me wonder, are gay men this honest with the girls they are friends with? I asked around and found out that, yes some gay men can be that honest.

Before I start into this week's YouTube Pick, I want everyone to know that the commercial that you will see is real. After watching the video I went to the Web site. It is a fully functional Web site with information about the resort. This is an advertisement for a resort called Sandy Balls. It is located in the southern part of England. There is meaning behind the name that dates back to Henry VIII. The name is not what makes it funny; they should have chosen their words better.

This week I found a funny parody that takes the USA win over Canada in hockey and sets it to part of the movie from Der Untergang (Downfall). Hitler's advisors are breaking the news to Hitler that Canada lost to the USA. First off if you didn't see the win over Canada you did miss out. Don't worry it was just a qualification game; there is a good chance that they will play again. However, they take the part of the movie and add their own subtitles.

This week's pick takes crazy fat lady to a whole new meaning. I have chosen the video "Crazy Lady Yells At Skaters (With Subtitles)." The background information of this video is that some skaters were in a parking lot filming themselves doing tricks. Insert Crazy Lady: she gets out of a car and starts yelling. I am confused about why she yells at them. It doesn't seem like she is a manager of the establishment or anything. I really think she just went crazy and started yelling.

This YouTube Pick of the Week is one that represents Washburn University. The question is, does it represent Washburn University in a good way?
The star of this little film is Phil Norris. He graduated from Washburn last year with a degree in anthropology. You might remember that he won Mr. Bod last year. In this clip he has climbed to the top of Kala Patar Mountain in Nepal, where he does the dance from the Michael Jackson "Thriller" video.

This week's YouTube pick is "Bacon is good for me." This video is a little bit on the old side; about a month ago a friend in meteorology told me that I have to watch this video. I did and I laughed my ass off. Not to mention all the great quotes within it.
