Washburn Professor receives Excellence Award

TOPEKA- Washburn University recently awarded the May Student Life Achieving Excellence Award to Park Lockwood, assistant professor of health, physical education and exercise science. Lockwood was acknowledged for displaying genuine concern for students and always making certain they know what resources are available at Washburn. The Student Life Achieving Excellence Award is an ongoing award presented to a student adviser, faculty or staff member, or community leader who demonstrates excellence working with individual students, student groups and organizations. Award winners also reflect the guiding principles of the student life area.
